Considering the significance of the date, Friday the 13th, we do not have any spooky movies releasing tomorrow. Two of them, one for fun and another based on crime  is all there is on fresh offer this weekend – Joyful Noise and Man on a ledge. Joyful Noise – Musical Comedy

‘Raise your voice and dream big’ – that is Joyful Noise to you. It’s a humorous and inspirational story of music, fun, love, and hope wherein a discord between two strong-minded, stubborn leading ladies (Latifah and Parton) of the Divinity Church Choir threatens to rip the choir apart. Will both of them find a common voice and come out with a joyful noise great enough to win the National Joyful Noise Competition that can save their small town of Pacashau, Georgia from hard times, forms the crux of the story.

Man on a Ledge – Crime

'Am an innocent man' screams the man on a ledge, becoming a front for a sinister plan. New York Police Department negotiator (Elizabeth Banks) tries to talk down an ex-cop and now wanted fugitive (Sam Worthington) who stands on the ledge of a high-rise building. As the clock ticks and it gets harder to get him off the ledge, she realizes he may have an ulterior objective.
