Recently as the promos of Suvreen Guggal-Topper of the Year hit the TV screens, the questions the girl posed set me thinking. Here is a show, that actually makes you pause for a second and reflect over the kind of life you life you lead each passing day!
Curiosity got the better of us and we at Rangmunch.TV got in touch with Nissar Parvez the Producer of the show to know exactly what the show and the character is all about and this is what he had to say.
Nissar Parvez: I think Suvreen Guggal symbolises most of us who have faced tremendous pressure from exams, results and making a career. I am sure all of us relate to a phase where our parents decide what they want us to do and we sub-consciously abide by their decision turning their dream into ours, unaware and unsure of what we actually want from our own life. But in due course it is possible that we might realize that our happiness lies in something else, and this is where there comes a clash between parental dreams and personal ambitions! This story brings out the struggle for that space where you go searching for your true happiness.
It is not important to top in exams, but it is to top in life. :-). And that's our Suvreen; a slow starter, a small town girl full of innocence and fun, excited about stepping into a big city but nervous at the same time. She has dreams of her own. She knows she wants to do something in life but is a little unsure of what that is though. All in all, she is a very warm, electrifying personality!
After Humse Hai Liife , this is the second home Production of 4 Lions Films on Channel V. Suvreen Guggal will premier on the 19th of March 2012 at 6:30 PM and 8:00 PM . The show stars Smriti Kalra who was last seen in 12/24 Karol Bagh on Zee TV in the lead role. The prominent cast of the show also includes Mita Vashist and Akshay Anand.
In a bid to promote the show, the makers have not only started a Facebook Page but also have been posting some interesting Posters that are raising the curiosity levels among the viewers.
What the story is actually going to be, you will have to wait and watch! But for now, we wish the team all the very best with their new venture! We hope, the message that the show seeks to send across makes a difference in people's lives!
