Chak De On Indian Telly!

Zee TV’s show ‘Sapney Suhane ladakpan Ke’ seems to have taken inspiration from King Khan’s superhit movie ‘Chak De India’ and has gone a step ahead to pay tribute to our national game - Hockey.

The show that revolves around Rachana—a small town girl with dreams in her eyes, has an episode that shows her playing hockey with a bunch of women hockey players on her college farewell day. Rachana is seen playing the sport in a saree.

Draped in a saree and donning the avatar of a hockey player was no easy task for Mahima Makwana who is playing the role of Rachna in the show. The actress has confessed to have seen ‘Chak De India’ the night before her shoot, not once but twice for inspiration.
