It came to all of us as a pleasant surprise when Kankana recently announced on her social networking page Facebook that she has written 4 episodes for CID on Sony Entertainment Television. An Episode went on air on the 10th of March 2012. She has earlier also written stories on May 20th, October 28th, 24th December 2011.
As most of us know her, Kankana is a fun loving girl who is an avid watcher of TV shows and is very fond of actors Sameer Sharma and Sumit Vats. Her favorite is however Rajeev Khandelwal, who she says inspired her to become a writer.
She tells us, how she still fondly remembers watching the episodes of CID as a child with her father and cant believe she is now joined the writing team.
Rangmunch is thrilled that a friend has gotten an opportunity to show case her talent in front of all and we only hope things get better from here on. CID is one of the longest running shows on Indian Television and it recently completed 15 years since inception!
