Rangmunch team contacted Preeti Puri Choudhary who confirmed the news saying, “Yes I will be working in Cinevistaas Production’s forthcoming telefilm “Dilbreaker” on Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus. My character's name is Meera and I will be playing a mother to the female protagonist Sia.” When asked what prompted her to take up this role she added, “Firstly it’s a telefilm with an organised set up and Meera as a character is very nice and appealing.”
Preeti was last seen essaying the role of Maharani Gayatri in Zee TV’s show “Shobha Somnath Ki.”
