Varun, apart from being an extremely good looking guy also has made an impact with his role and acting within a short span. Varun however is way more reserved and sweet in real life. After a chat with him, there was one word I could sum him up in- Thinker!
Varun Kapoor finds his place as the very first entrant in the I,Me, Myself segment for Rangmunch Year 2!! Here's to new beginnings to both of us!
Rangmunch : One thing you are grateful for in life ?
Varun: ( after a serious thought) I am grateful for my family, my mom and dad,my brother ,my bhabhi.You can say they are all I have.
Rangmunch : What is that one thing that is missing in your life at the moment ?
Varun: A few weekly off’s ( laughs),A small vacation, long conversation with my family.Nothing materialistic actually.
Rangmunch : Do you judge others?
Varun: .No, never. I cant judge anybody.Everyone has their own space.They are themselves,so I am no one to judge them.
Rangmunch : Doyou think everything happens for a reason?
Varun: hmmm...ya. Everything has a connection to something and if everything happens for a reason , I believe it happens for the good.
Rangmunch : So, what is that one thing that you thought happened for a reason ,which in the past you never gave much thought to?
Varun: Humse Hai Life ( Pat comes the reply with a smile)
Rangmunch :How important is family approval to you when it comes to anything in life?
Varun: My family and my parents never disapprove of anything I do. That’s the best part about them.On the other hand they have always been supportive of me in whatever I have done. Even if I pass or fail, they have always been supportive.
Rangmunch :What is your biggest asset?
Varun: My family.I don’t have anything except them. My fiancee’, whom I’ll marry. My brother and my father are my role models who I have watched growing up.
Rangmunch :Has being a part of this industry changed your perception of friendship ?
Varun:I don’t have any friends from this industry. I don’t know anyone here.I maybe bad at socializing but I don’t know anyone be it big names or small ones, I don’t know anyone.
Rangmunch : Do you let other people’s negativity affect you ?
Varun: I don’t talk too much with anybody so people don’t have much to talk about me, so no nothing affects me as I am not close to anyone.I come, work and go. I don’t socialize at all.
Rangmunch : What makes you happy?
Varun: Doing a good scene or delivering a good dialogue makes me happy.
Rangmunch : How do you handle criticism?
Varun: If you think you have done your job well, and people still criticize you then you have to take it in your stride and understand that you have the potential to do even better. So its all welcome. Whenever I meet my Producer or Director ,I always ask them , whats missing ?So its always healthy to welcome criticism.
Rangmunch : What do you like to do in your free time?
Varun: Aaaah....Tv,watch news..I like sports.
Rangmunch : What colour describes your mood right now?
Varun:I am always happy. White , blue…( looks around and says) ..any colour.
Rangmunch :On a scale of1 to 10, how happy are you with life right now.?
Varun: You can’t scale happiness.I am happy with what I am doing.I work, go home, talk to my family, my fiancée and that’s it …It’s a good day for me.
